Passed away peacefully on November 14, 2009 with family by his side. Predeceased by his mother, Mary and father, Harold. Survived by his children, Melanie and Ryan, their mother, Deanna and his sister Kathy. Special thanks to Sandey for all her love and support. David worked in the construction industry in and around Vancouver for many years, most recently the Olympic Village project. He was a committed family man and his sense of humour and warm laugh will not be forgotten. Dave had a chance to see the world, loved to cruise on his Harley and take on adventure at every opportunity. He was an active member in the AA community and was thankful to the people who supported him over the many years. Although he passed well before his time, David enjoyed a full and active life and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to Dr. Glanzberg and to the nurses and doctors on 8B and the Palliative Care Unit at VGH.
